2008 BIRDHOUSE COMPETITION FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

 

大赛宗旨 

全球环境正发生着急剧变化，地球生存空间和人类居住环境也面临重重挑战。通过这次活动，旨在提高公众的环保意识，从鸟类栖息、居住的环境着手，深化人们对环境保护、爱惜地球环境的意识，提出新的关于人居环境设计的新构思。

OBJECT OF THE COMPEITION

The global environment is transforming continuously. Human inhabitant environment is encountering enormous challenges. This competition provides an opportunity to consider an inhabitant pattern through an understanding of bird’s habitation, which improves human sustainable social consciousness.

全世界各级各类学校在校学生

ELIGIBILITY

The competition is open to students from any university in the world, who has not graduated at the time of December, 2008.

稿件要求和评选过程：

以鸟类的居住或栖息环境为原创形态，提出初步概念方案。评选过程分两个阶段进行，稿件要求如下：

初  评

参赛者作品内容不限，可为：照片、图纸、效果图或其他。尺寸为A4幅面（297mm×210mm），另附上设计说明，文字不多于200字。作品提交页数不限，与参赛报名表一同邮寄。个人资料不得标注于作品中。初评将选出50件入围作品。

复  评

对入选复赛的作品，大赛组委会将直接通知作者本人。参赛者需按照初步概念制作不超过1米 X 1米 X 1米规格的实体模型，评委会对作品模型的制作提供建议。根据作品实物模型来评审（只针对通过了初赛的作品）。每件入选作品将获得500元人民币制作补助。

 

FORMAT AND JUDGING

Participant should submit a design proposal to address the competition theme. There are two judging phases:

First Phase

Participant should submit a design proposal in the form of a photograph, sketch, rendering, drawing, or other media, on A4 panel format (297mm x 210mm). The number of panel is not limited. No participant’s information should appear on the panel. The panel should be sent together with the registration form. 50 entries will be selected during the first phase.

Second Phase

First Phase Entries will be notified in person. The participant will submit a physical model (within 1m x 1m x 1m) based on selected design proposal. The jury will advice the model making. Every entry project will be compensated with 500RMB for model making.

初稿审查             2008年9月6日

入选通知             2008年9月中旬

（仅通过初赛资格者接到通知，同时请入围者提供参加复赛作品的实物模型）

       复赛作品截稿       2008年10月25日（以当日邮戳为准）

复稿审查             2008年11月1日

评选结果将于11月上旬公布在  http://www.birdhouse.gr.jp

The result will be announced on http://www.birdhouse.gr.jp at the beginning of November.

参赛作品必须是原创作品，参赛所花一切费用由参赛者自己承担，获奖作品如系模仿他人作品，一经发现，即取消授奖资格。参赛作品可能被用于广告物、作品展示会、产品目录、商品设计等目的。主办方保留未经事前通知修改比赛规则的权利。参赛作品恕不退回。

COPYRIGHT

       The participants are guaranteed the intellectual property of the submissions, as per applicable legislation regarding author’s rights. Participation in the competition automatically grants the Birdhouse Project the right to use the submitted work for all objectives related to the divulgation of the results. Registration for the competition authorizes the use of the personal data supplied for uses exclusively related to the inherent phases and successive procedures of the competition.
